We have simplified our postage and handling charges, so you know exactly how much it will cost to get your precious parcel to your door!

Standard product delivery

We offer a flat rate of $10.15 Australia-wide on most orders which are sent via Registered Post through Australia Post. However, some State and Territory customers will be required to pay extra depending on items ordered, quantity ordered and their location. Remote areas as well as South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania generally incur higher postage charges.

Conditions apply for items considered ‘bulky’ or in instances where the item is not held on-site and is shipped direct to you via our supplier and their nominated courier service.

Orders received before 12noon (AEST) Monday to Friday will generally be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 12noon (AEST) Monday to Friday, on the weekend or on a Queensland Public Holiday will be shipped the next business day.  Shipping times are estimated at between 2-7 business days depending on your location within Australia.

Playground Princess ships your item via registered post through Australia Post (for smaller items) or via our suppliers nominated courier service (for larger or items we don’t hold on-site). By sending your item via Australia Post Registered Post there will be proof the item was sent / when it’s lodged over the counter at an Australia Post retail outlet and proof the item was received. Upon shipping your item we will supply you with a tracking number via email.

Orders over $150 in total are shipped FREE within Australia (with some exceptions)

Bulky items

These items may not be posted through Australia Post, rather an independent Courier company with applicable freight charges. A minimum standard freight charge may apply for these items.

Please note: Bulky items may be shipped separately from the rest of your order. Bulky items are only available for delivery within Australia.

Backorders / Pre-orders

From time to time items are not readily in stock from our suppliers and these are then listed as a ‘Backorder’ or ‘Pre-order’. If you wish to place an order for an item on Backorder / Pre-order, full payment is required upfront and an invoice will be issued to you for your records. Once the item becomes available we will advise you via email and arrange for the item to be shipped direct to you. Items may be on Backorder / Pre-order for a period of 1-4 weeks.
